Nine Lives Bajka "Bajka"

Nine Lives Bajka, "Bajka" is now our 4th angel in 2013.....today we had to let her go. "Bajka", daughter of our beloved Avalonia Jesta Rogue, "Lucas", was still beautiful, but her legs were no longer strong enough to carry her. She was born 14th of May 2001 and would have been 13 in May 2014.

Our B-litter was the first litter with "Lucas", mating Jacky du Tadjoura, combining French bloodlines with Nevedith. Bajka was our pick and stayed with us. Her brother Bibosz was planned to go to Karola Buchholz, but he got an eye infection and had to stay with us until it was healed...and then we could not give him away, so both litter mates stayed with us. Bibosz died 2 years ago. Sister Bazia was sold to a Bavarian breeder, but when she was about 4, she came back to us because the breeder sold all her dogs at once. The 4th puppy of our B-litter, Balagan, is a beloved pet in Dresden.

Bajka was a great pleasure to show, an excellent mover like her sire, she became Polish, Serbian, Mazedonian Champion and German Veteran Champion. She was my second little shadow, besides "Lara", following me with her big black eyes and she was a typical friendly and charming whippet.

Fly free, little shadow, bring my kisses to Lucas, Kira and Lara and the other beloved ones, we meet again at the rainbow bridge....
